Squid In Tamarind Soup aka Singgang Sotong + Ikan Bawal Masam Manis For Lunch

Since they are still lots of raw seafood stocks in our freezer, I decided to cook again today for lunch. It has been a record for me to just staying at home the whole weekends and cooked. It's two lauk for today...a simple sotong singgang and ikan bawal masam manis. Trying the recipes I got from the Internet again but I do add and alter some other things according to my taste....just campak2 that is...

Ingredients:
Squid - Cleaned and cut into rings
Garlic pounded
Ginger pounded
Lemon grass pounded
Tamarind
Red chillies - sliced
Cili api pounded if choose for it to be more spicy
Water
Salt and sugar to taste

1) clean the squid and set aside.
2) in a pot, put everything inside except for the squid.
3) let it simmer till it starts to boil.
4) add in the squid and let it boil once again.
5) take the pot off the heat and it's ready to serve.

Cara2 :
