Dinner @ Dubu-Dubu Restaurant, Midvalley

Running Man's influence and my ex-colleague's said it was tasty. They had it every Friday so decided to try it too. If they keep going for it, it must be delicious right? Plus the name is seems interesting as seen in Korean Dramas...kimchi...bibimbap and so on ^_^

They even display the how-to-eat your Bibimbap ^_^

Daddy only chose the Korean Chic Spicy Wings after going through the menu with a headache ^_^ and it was not that spicy at all.

Mine which is a more adventurous one when it comes to food opt for the Bulgogi beef set

Which comes with this healthy life style rice but not too style for our tekak, brown rice which is really good for ur health due to its less carbo

The Bulgogi sets also comes with 3 side dishes....kimchi, sweet potato and tauge...

All in despite their interesting names, Korean food is not really our liking. Though all the bloggers that I've surveyed said it was delicious, it doesn't really suits our taste bud.

Cheese Tart!

An uncle come to the office yesterday asking whether I wanna buy his mini cheese tart at RM26 per bekas so I just say yes despite dieting. There goes my diet again!

It was delicious and the price is quite cheap compared to what I've surveyed online all this while.

Will absolutely ask for more!

The uncle said its gonna last for a month if keep in the freezer. Actually it tastes much better out of the freezer! Cool like ice creams!

Lunch @ Manhattan Fish Market

The best thing about having friends who loves to eat and exploring new food. Off JJCM today to Manhattan Fish Market @ Sogo for lunch. Been quite some time since I had these ever since Ikea has its own fish & chips in its menu ^_^

What fish ehhhh?

My blue soft drink...forgot the name...a float to be exact...taste okay, just like float ^_^

Each of us ordered their fish & chip, my personal fav but one tried with cheezy topping being a cheezy lover she is

Fish is their specialty so what more can I say...despite its small looks, it manage to stuff us well. I'm so full that no need for me to stuff myself with food even after work ^_^

Lunch @ Kenny Rogers Roasters

The 4th and final day of the long CNY break, we were finally out of the house and off to One Utama. Just like yesterday, not even sure where to go but I do need to buy something. Already cooked for Daddy so I guess it would be okay if I dine in somewhere way different from our usual food spot. Originally the plan was to dine in the Korean cuisine restaurant, Dubu-dubu but when I saw Kenny Rogers which was closed for renovation for quite some time already opened its door, my feet just walked in there since I've been craving for it since trying it with colleague not too long ago.

Opt for the CNY specials called Fortune Chicken...

Jelly O Berry and orange muffin

Fortune Chicken with 3 side dishes plus 1/4 of chicken for Daddy

Somehow the taste is different from what I've tasted in KL Sentral. It was totally out! It's understandable if the fortune chicken doesn't taste so good since it's something new in the menu but what frustrated me the most was the BBQ one which I ordered for Daddy. Even that one doesn't taste good. The one that I tried in KL Sentral makes me wanna come for more today okay!

Ohhh how I regretted for not going to Dubu-dubu! At least that one is forgiveable since it's totally something that I've never tried before.

This one tried and doesn't taste so delicious like those before. Or is it because of the orange muffin and that weird drink? Not sure but it's gonna take me some time to come back and ask for more : (

Even the macaroni & cheese tastes so weird since the macaroni was hardly cooked.

The total bill

Manage to finish it despite the not so yummy...forced myself to finish it despite feels like wanna throw up...

Sorry KR but I'm not satisfied : (

Dinner @ Mee Jawa Publika

It's the 3rd day of long holiday due to the CNY and we're only stuck at home. Feels like not having mood to go out since it's a long break, all fav spot would be packed with people.

Just stay at home cooking, spring cleaning, sleeping & watching lots of tv series. That's really my kind of holiday.

Only made nasi goreng kg today and Daddy keep asking whether want to go out or not.

After lots of korean dramas, decided to go out to get some food after Asar prayers. We don't even know where to go & what to eat actually!

At last, we just went to the nearest spot...Publika and tried this Mee Jawa cafe as what JJCM has recomended long ago.

My huge plate of Mee Jawa @ RM10.90. Despite its large size and attractive looks, it was lack of taste for me. The gravy is sufficiently thick though and they put quite a lot of things in it. I guess it would be perfect if they add a lil' bit of salt in it to enrich the taste.

Daddy's nasi putih & tomyam @ RM14.90 which was quite okay but it was too sour for Daddy.

Overall, it was okay.

Boredom!

We were invited to a house warming and I was dizzy finding the suitable baju for the occasion. Baju kurung would be too over since it's at night. Things that you get if you keep your wardrobe with tomboyish style. Thank God I do find something approriate in my wardrobe to wear. A blue dress which I bought when I was outstation in Kulim last year. Talking about fashion malfunction huh?

But I am so comfy with simple tomboyish style. Girlie style makes me feel really weird ^_^

Moral of the story : Do buy something appropriate and sopan to attend this kind of invitation okay. Don't keep fulling the wardrobe with shirts, pants and jeans only : (
