We took a cab from Pop Hotel to Pasar Baru for RM15 for three of us. Me, Kak Norsiah & Kak Ros. Be careful the taxi driver might charged you more if you are not really familiar with the cab fees. As for us, we did asked the hotel receptionist how much is the fees from the hotel.
To get the cab you'll need to walk through the Festival City Mall and took one outside the Festival City Mall which is in front of J Co Donuts. Ohhh, we did't even get the chance to taste the true J CO from Indonesia!
The journey was approximately 15-20 minutes depends on the traffic condition but it was not that far from our hotel.
Upon arriving, we were tailed by a guard saying shops are not opened yet and showed us a fes shops that are opened at the ground floor. Yep it was too early. We arrived before 10 a.m being so excited since they said you'll get special price if come early. Plus to avoid the crowd.
The very first stop was this telekung shop which was near the 2nd floor escalator. The price is not that cheap. It depends on the material. I bought the purple one, made from silk for RM100 plus!
Then to this second shop next to the telekung shop. The colors and patterns really caught my eyes. The sellers which tag along told me that this shop is so famous. Better choose and buy early before the crowd comes in but I didn't buy it thought he was lying. Minutes later, it was full of crowd! Manage to buy a few from here. Super duper cheap I must say!
Heaven for shoppers! Feels like wanna take home the whole Pasar Baru!
Bought the pink one for my friend for RM80 plus.
Catch of the day. Spent almost 3 million rupiah juz on the day 1 shopping! Bankruptcy!!!
