I Love Rainbow....Cookies!

It's Pasar Tani day today as usual. Found this new seller of rainbow cookies there. Don't know what's the name of the cookies but I've seen it before in Facebook.

Of course la attracted for its colourful rainbow colors so bought one small jar @ RM20 per jar. There was two sizes available. Another one was sold @ RM17 per jar with more quantities but smaller.

It was crunchy. Taste wise, biasa jer. It was colourful but not that colourful when it comes to taste. Just plain. But it helps if you wanna light your gloomy day like me ^_^

Finished it off in two days only. Addicted due to its crunchiness. Yums!

Craziness For The Sake Of Mee Kolok!

Doing something crazy today by gambling our lives for the sake of Mee Kolok. Off and rushing to the Kuching Waterfront as soon as the class finished at 4.30 p.m. Naik sampan menyeberangi sungai Sarawak. Ok over di situ. Sorry ^_^

Cheer cum panic face. I rela demi mee kolok gitu. Never been on a sampan actually. A tiny not so balance one like this. We were just walking along the waterfront looking for mee kolok but there is none. Still want mee kolok despite the meal provided by the hotel so hence taking the risk. The tambang was only RM0.50 one way. So return only RM1 per peson. Really cheap!


It was a new experience for me. Scary but quite exciting actually. Must be able to balance the sampan. How you seat if there's already ppl on the other side of the sampan then u need to sit at the opposite side in order for the sampan to balance bla..bla..blaaa If not, it will be senget sebelah. Scream now & there but still hop on the sampan for 4 times actually until we met the right place for mee kolok, Kg. Boyan that is.

Ordered for the special one @ RM5.50 per plate being excited and mengidam for so long punyer pasal. The taste was not the same as I've tasted before. Weird huuuu...

After mee kolok, we walk around Kg. Boyan searching for kek lapis Sarawak. First spot was Mira Cake House. The best thing about it was that we can taste the cake first before we purchase it so pulun stuffing ourselves. Ended up not buying it and moved to Dayang Salhah's one. Dayang Salhah has delivery service to the hotel (mine is Hotel Harbour View) if you buy 5 and above at no cost. So membeli belah kek di situ la kita. The cake will last 3-5 days only if not refrigerated so better with the delivery service on the day we're going back to KL. The day after tomorrow that is.

Settle mee kolok & kek lapis. So rushing since our timetable are packed. We had class until night. The only time to sneak out is after 4.30 p.m. class.

We passed by a banana cheese gerai on our way back to the hotel rushing for dinner and night class. Looks so good. Hoping to taste it tomorrow. We only have tomorrow to settle whatever we want to buy and eat in Sarawak.

So little time. How I wish this is actually vacation.

Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner @ Burgerbyte Damansara Perdana

Our JJCM for today. Feels not going out due to the extremely hot weather plus just wanna stay glued at the tv waiting for MH370 news but since day 2 of no water supply, out we were passing the lunch hour without knowing what to eat. Finally, Burgerbyte that is. Arrived at 4.30 p.m. but it was not open yet so headed to Nasi Kukus Ilham first for Daddy's wajib nasi cravings. It opens @ 5.00 p.m. btw.

The menu 'planted' on the table. EAch table already had menu. Browse and choose what you want then off to counter to order and pay. WAit for approximately 15 minutes and tadaaaa the food will arrive.

The menu, quite a bunch to choose from. There's even menu with rice , spaghetti, steak, burgers (of course) and snacks. Feels like wanting to try everything! The spaghetti looks good, even the burgers and steaks! Unfortunate that Daddy has stuffed himself with nasi or else we can ordered different menu to try.

I chose the naked burger which is meat & chicken burger without the bread with veggie and potato. Served in a plate that looks like sizzling. Taste very nice. Daging tebal, tender & juicy. Having hard time to finish it alone. Also ordered chilli fries. I thought they put serbuk cili on it like Mcd's but it turn out to be ala2 kuah spaghetti bolognaise on it. Nice if can consume terus since the kuah makes the fries lembik. Also cannot finish it. One person with that amount of food.

The total bill. Gonna try their spaghetti and nachos pulak next time. Even the burgers look tempting.

Back to the office. A bundle of work waiting. Start the morning with Kursus Gangguan Seksual. Then back to office catching up with work. Then to Pasar Tani for food ^_^

A new menu found today. Spaghetti Olio Pasar Tani style. Nice.

Another Ikan Bakar Day

It's Friday. Long lunch hour. Dunno where to go so join the staffs for lunch. Ikan bakar again and this time it's in Kg. Baru. A dine in place that I've never been and tried before eventhough it's one on DAddy's fav food spot.

We only used to the gerai makan near the Kg. Baru flat area but not this one near the pintu gerbang.

Since I already stuffed myself with nasi tomato and ayam masak merah this morning due to hunger, opt for this one as recommended by my friend. Kuey tiow goreng that taste superb!

Lunch @ Ikan Bakar Tang Ling

It's Wednesday, another dull lunch without pasar tani day. A colleague invite to try lunch at Ikan Bakar Tang Ling so I just say yes to it since I've never tried it before.

We reached there after 1 so the place was already full. They opened extra chairs & table for 3 of us under a really big tree. Feels like dining with nature. Quite convenient having plastic chairs & table like them. Thank God that the weather was good. A sunny day spend under a tree ^_^

It was self service food and drinks. Once u got the table, off to the counter to get your nasi and lauk. Then to the grill place to pick the fish.

I'm not really good with fishes so just opt for ikan kembung. It taste quite good. The sambal made it delicious. Even their air bandung was so tempting in color and taste.

It was quite pricey to dine in here. Need at least RM10 per person depends on the fish u took.

But it was worth it. Expensive but taste superb is okay for me.

JJCM : Nasi Kukus Ilham

After some small argument whether to go out or not, here we are nearby Ikea area stuffing a super duper spicy nasi kukus. Daddy said it was a friend of his friend's restaurant.

Wrapped in a simple paper, ready to be eaten.

The restaurant is opposite Surau Mutiara Damansara. A really simple restaurant concept. Layan diri. Need to queue up to get the food which took quite some time waiting for the chicken to masak. Might lose your patient if your are in starving mode.

Despite all that, it was worth the wait. It do taste so good but be careful with it's sambal which is extremely hot. My tongue and fingers were sore esp. without any water to kill e spice.

Suffering but finger lickin' good!

Where can I find this biskut semperit dahlia, home made one with a full satisfying kastard taste. Been craving for this. Had not found the delicious one yet.

Dinner @ Ramal Food Court

After spending 4 days at Akademi Audit Negara, I'm totally kemaruk makanan due to the tasteless food there. Plus it's always rice, rice and rice and no other choice. I don't take rice more than once a day and it's killing me! Plus with no transport to find something more interesting for my tummy.

So on the way back after finishing the course, asked daddy for dinner at Ramal Food Court which is in Kajang for the famous Satay Willy.

To my surprise, there's so many food to choose there. Feels like wanna everything!

End up with chicken satay plus menu from the famous Abg Burn which is their Burger Bakar & meatballs.

Satay Willy @ RM0.70 per cucuk was really superb but Burger Bakar Abg Burn somehow didn't really suits my taste bud. The chicken burger @ RM8.50 is salty maybe because of the cheese. I might have ordered wrong menu. Should taken one without cheese. But it do come at a really large size.

The meatballs 10 pieces @ RM9.90 with cheezy wedges for me, Ikea's one is much better since both of us are not black pepper lover. If you are a fan of black pepper, it might suits your taste bud though.

Bandung Day 2 : Dinner @ Food Court Festival Link

We ran to Festival City Link for dinner right after coming back from Pasar Baru. The food here seems okay as what we have tasted last night.

KFC Indonesia. Don't know what does JAGO means. Sedap @ crunchy nyer ayam maybe ^_^ We had our very own KFC in Malaysia. Not going to waste my tummy and tasted it here.

One of the menu. Giggled reading sup buntut! Aiyo! What's so delicious with butt? Actually it was sup ekor. They called it buntut here.

My dinner menu. Tadaaaaa. Thank God it tastes so good!

Last but not least, trying their sate that looks delicious but it wasn't at all. Malaysian ones tastes superb.

Day 2 and we already missed Malaysian food.

Bandung Day 2 : Lunch @ Pasar Baru

We were really starving after climbing level by level....shop by shop with lots of barang in hand. Things are so heavy yet we still didn't stop shopping. So head up to the food court. Once we arrived, quite a few came around to racun us to eat at their shop. The people here are so desperate to find money. Everywhere you go, the tailed you until you buy what they are selling. Quite annoying. Really blessed to be Malaysian.

Since we're starving and also so tired carrying so many things in hand, I just sit whenever there is a spot without thinking much. Came this menu without giving us the chance to think. To free the annoying aura, we just place an order.

Sadly, the food taste so bad. Barely eat, just paid and continue shopping.

Dinner @ Belanga The Gardens, Midvalley

So we were off to Midvalley after work to go to the money changer. The trip is only in 2 days and I haven't got my IDR or Rupiah it is.

Daddy treat me to Belanga for dinner. Being me who is not a heavy eater when it comes to dinner, I just opt for their Ais Campur and Cucur Udang. While daddy of course with his rice, Nasi Kerabu it is.

A kampung menu yet at a pricey price but it taste good.

A millionaire for 5 days ^_^

I wonder whether RM1.5k is enuff...it's shopping heaven ok.

Freak no more, if you are worried about carrying too much money just activate your ATM and credit card for international used during your stay.

Bandung do have Maybank which they named it BII there and CIMB ATM so just activate for international use by going to the ATM machines or call the bank directly.

Dinner @ Mee Jawa Publika

It's the 3rd day of long holiday due to the CNY and we're only stuck at home. Feels like not having mood to go out since it's a long break, all fav spot would be packed with people.

Just stay at home cooking, spring cleaning, sleeping & watching lots of tv series. That's really my kind of holiday.

Only made nasi goreng kg today and Daddy keep asking whether want to go out or not.

After lots of korean dramas, decided to go out to get some food after Asar prayers. We don't even know where to go & what to eat actually!

At last, we just went to the nearest spot...Publika and tried this Mee Jawa cafe as what JJCM has recomended long ago.

My huge plate of Mee Jawa @ RM10.90. Despite its large size and attractive looks, it was lack of taste for me. The gravy is sufficiently thick though and they put quite a lot of things in it. I guess it would be perfect if they add a lil' bit of salt in it to enrich the taste.

Daddy's nasi putih & tomyam @ RM14.90 which was quite okay but it was too sour for Daddy.

Overall, it was okay.

Found this new product from McD while killing time in Midvalley during lunch hour and of course decided to try it out. It was awesome! Gonna come back for more!

Raya Cookies Mode

Bought @ Bazar Ramadhan Stadium Bola Sepak Cheras today. Really had no idea what kind of raya cookies to buy since my family do make cookies fir sale so I need to buy something different that's gonna make them drooling for it : )

Plus since there's so many cookies during Raya, only few ones will caught people's eyes.

Cow's Internal Organs For Breaking Fast?!

Today me & gang went to Bazar Ramadhan @ Stadium Bola Sepak Cheras again for I'm craving for the delicious Murtabak Keramat & akok there.

We came across this stall which sells all kind of cow's internal organs that caught our eyes. Both of my collegue bought it (they picked which one they want & the seller will cut it into pieces before pouring the soup into it).

Ohhhh and it was hard to recognize & playing guessing what is what...

There's lung, liver, tripe, intestine, spleen and even testicles & cow's tongue to name a few...

Am quite surprised that people do eat almost all of the internal organs of a cow : )

Bazar Ramadhan Stadium Bola Sepak Cheras

It's second day of audit in Bandar Tun Razak so today we decided to check what's interesting in the very long Bazar Ramadhan @ Stadium Bola Sepak Cheras. Last year I only passed by it everyday during fasting month but didn't get the chance to stop by. So many choices!
