Tried to make tomyam today for lunch, a late one I must say waiting for daddy to come back with the ingredients.
The recipe is from myresipi 
A simple one and easy to make it come true with a decent taste for starters like me : )
Bahan-bahan ( 3-4 org )
    ½ ekor ayam (dipotong kecil)
    2 biji bawang besar (dihiris bulat)
    3 biji bawang putih (ditumbuk kasar)
    15-20 batang cili padi merah (ditumbuk kasar)
    2 batang serai (dititik)
    1 sudu besar pes tom yam
    4 helai daun limau purut
    2-3 biji limau nipis (diambil jusnya)
    3-4 cawan air
    garam & perasa
    sedikit minyak
    sayur-sayuran (bunga kobis, jagung muda, tomato)
Cara-cara
    - Panaskan minyak dlm periuk. Tumis bawang putih hingga wangi dan perang.
    - Masukkan ayam, kacau sekejap dan tutup periuk sebentar (supaya jus ayam 
      keluar).
    - Masukkan air dan biarkan mendidih. Setelah itu masukkan serai, bawang besar 
      dan daun limau.
    - Masukkan cili padi, pes tom yam, garam serta perasa.
    - Kemudian masukkan sayur-sayuran dan biarkan sekejap.
    - Last skali, masukkan jus limau, kacau sekejap dan matikan api.
    
TIPS: Tom yam yg enak, ade sedikit rase pedas, masam dan wangi dari aroma daun limau. 
So it was not that hard, all I have to do is try...
Plus, it's more satisfying if homemade since I can put as much prawns, squids, chic and veggie suits our taste bud compared to limited if bought ready made...
