PETALING JAYA: Milo has apologised to consumers for not being able to continue with its in-store redemption of Milo van replicas, also known as Milo mini vans, for the time being.
However, the company said additional orders had been placed for the replicas and consumers could send in their redemption forms via post until Sept 30.
In a statement yesterday, Milo said the programme had received overwhelming response since its launch and it had led to a shortage of the number of mini vans, resulting in delays in the redemption process.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and have since placed an additional order for the mini vans.
“The process will take some time but we would like to assure consumers that all valid redemption requests will be met,” it said.
Milo recently introduced its Milo mini van redemption programme, whereby consumers were awarded points through the purchase of specific Milo products, which subsequently allow them to redeem the points for the mini van.
The redemption of the mini vans started on June 1 and the programme was supposed to end this month.
