Ramadhan Food Promo

It's Ramadhan and most of the eateries are having Ramadhan promo for break fast time. Here goes the list of fast foods that Mummy encountered upon especially for this Holy month.

Mcd is introducing two session of McValue meal deal, both for lunch and buka puasa all this Ramadhan for the very first time! Something that they never had done before. For all these years, the McValue Lunch deal were replaced solely to break fast time starting from 6.00 - 9.00 pm. This new promo is much better...at least non-Muslims can get grab this promo during lunch time at ease and we the Muslims can grab it during our break fast time with less of queue and waiting time hopefully...



Apart from that, they are also giving free 20 pieces chicken McNuggets for every purchase of RM45 and above in a single receipt for McDelivery all this Ramadhan.




As for Manhattan Fish Market, it is also extending their platter promo (50% off for all starters, salads and desserts for every platter order) and giving an additional 10% off for all platter for Call and Collect (Take Away) orders specially for Ramadhan.



As usual for Pizza Hut, they are introducing a special buka puasa meal this Ramadhan with the new Citarasa Ramadhan Pizza called Piza Seri Kasturi



Last but not least, for Secret Recipe....they are giving a free syrup drink and dates for every main course meal ordered

CSI Miami Season 9 Premiere

Is eagerly waiting for the new season of CSI Miami airing tonight @ 10.05 pm on my favorite channel ever, AXN! Am wondering what's happening to the CSI team. The previous season ends with all the team in the lab fainted....

Fat Cat Diet?!

Arghhhhhh! Even the fat cat needs to diet!



TRENTON, Amerika Syarikat (AS) - Seekor kucing paling berat di dunia, Otto mengalami penurunan berat badan selepas ia dihantar ke sebuah hospital haiwan, lapor sebuah akhbar kelmarin.

Berat badan asal haiwan itu ialah 16.4 kilogram (kg) tetapi ia berkurangan lebih 2.3kg.

Haiwan itu mempunyai berat badan 13.4kg semasa ia dipamerkan dalam satu program televisyen msnbc.com pada Khamis lalu yang berjudul Today.

Kucing itu dihantar oleh pemiliknya ke sebuah hospital haiwan di New Jersey pada Januari lalu untuk menjalani prgram diet selama enam bulan. - Agensi

Today's Lunch @ Doli

Don't know what to eat today so we went to Doli Kuey Teow Goreng for lunch @ TTDI. Their kuey teow is delicious as ever but their mee rebus that mummy tried for the first time is tasteless, not so recommended...both of the mee rebus and kuey teow are priced @ RM5.50 each. They also had special kuey teow priced @ RM10+ with a bigger portion and additional prawns, that usually need to be shared for both of us since one person will have the problem to finish it all alone due to the bigger portion compared to the usual menu.

Apart from that, their air bandung @ RM1.90 also is not as good as before due to the lack of milk. It should be call air sirap rather than air bandung...

Home Ownership Programme Expo @ PWTC

Today mummy and daddy went to PWTC for house hunting. A Home Ownership Programme organized by the BN Youth. Unluckily, not many are affordable to us. The affordable one will be in the states but will keep on hunting until we find the right one ^_^




Since Mummy has finished my studies, we can now hunt for a place called our very own home. People might be asking, why on earth did mummy and daddy still didn't buy our very own home at this age. Well, it's all because of mummy's insecure office location. Not only it has its own branch all over Malaysia, mummy also can be transferred either in KL or Putrajaya and I'm so afraid of buying a home so far from office! I really don't like wasting most of my time on the road stuck in traffic and long distance driving. Time is precious and I really prefer to spend it at home after a long day struggling with work.

Especially when mummy opt for study leave, I can no longer rely on going back to my previous office in KL after finishing my studies. They will transfer me just anywhere after my studies and there goes the question...WHERE SHOULD WE REALLY RESIDE? Is it near KL or Putrajaya? To avoid the insecurity, we opt to only think about buying our own home after mummy finish the Degree.



Only after being transferred to Putrajaya 2 months back and travelling from KL to Putrajaya everyday for work that mummy realized that is should not be much a problem if we opt to have a home in KL. It was tiring at first having to drive almost 100km per day. It also consumes more cost of course due to the distance, more to spend on petrol and toll. But then, the traffic is smooth since mummy is from KL compared to those who's heading to KL in the morning. It was the same in the evening when people are going back from work. It is congested from KL but smooth from Putrajaya. Only then mummy realized that we should opt for a place in KL rather than Putrajaya. At least I won't be suffering on road like those who works in KL but travels from Putrajaya everyday.

Pepper Sweets

A collegue of mine who went for outstation in Sarawak last week gave me this specialty from Sarawak, pepper sweets....so nice of her!

How I miss mee kolok Sarawak, my all time favorite! That one cannot be brought home as a souvenir all the way from Sarawak like the layer cake. I wish one day I'll be able to go there just for the sake of their mee kolok...yummy!

Yeay! We've Got The Remote!

Mummy has actually done something crazy by buying a home theatre system 2 weeks ago. Has been longed for it months ago since our 'classic' dvd player broke down and mummy can't no longer watch my collection of dvds.

This one was not being planned at all, just surveying as usual... patiently waiting for mummy's monthly pay and piggie bank to be full ^_^

Unfortunately that day, we found this one selling at a discount and the price is less than a thousand ringgit so without further thinking, we just grab it! After months of surveying, we never came across this brand selling below thousands!

Being cheap of course come with pro and cons. They have lost the remote and we need to wait for a week to get it and today, at last here it is! The complete set and we can start enjoying our fav movie at home...

My Mag Collection

It's usual Saturday morning meant for spring cleaning. Mummy decided to go through to my old Harmoni mag collection and put them in a box due to no more space on our small rack.

I have been interested in Harmoni ever since I looked at their interesting cover and read my big bos copy on Norjuma, the TV3 presenter who married our current Prime Minister's little brother back in 2005. That issue were sold out fast and I miss that one for collection.

My first issue of Harmoni was in 2005 where the cover was the newly wed Aidid Marcelo and Norzie who's both also TV3 presenter. Back then I only chose to buy certain issue which were interesting to me but now I bought them every single, twice a month and it would be really awkward if I miss one issue!

What I like the most with this mag is that it covers a wide range of issue and is suitable for both gender, be it man or woman. It guides us through life by having articles on woman, man, family and also how to solve problems with kids such as guides on how to attract your kid to eat veggie, how to handle if they were sick, how to avoid their fear and so on. It also have traditional tips such on how to reduce dandruff, pimples, how to whitened your old cup and so on and also recipes and the latest news about our local celebrities. See, it's all packed in one mag with affordable price of RM4.50 only!

My precious collection...it was nice to see how this mag grow, upgrading and becoming more interesting year by year...and I'll always be their loyal reader.

Raya Cookies Fever

Raya is still a long way to go. In fact, it's not even fasting month yet but we @ e office are busy stuffing ourselves with raya cookies esp mummy!

I already had my third jar of raya cookies which I didn't wait for raya to consume. No wonder I'm building fat again! Eating is such a heaven!

Nasi Lemak Tang Lin

Daddy took mummy for breakfast @ nasi lemak tang lin today, something that mummy has been craving for, for weeks! Really heaven on earth to be able to eat such a delicious nasi lemak.

Nasi lemak Tang Lin has been listed in the top ten most delicious nasi lemak in Klang Valley. It has been here since 1948. People are willing to queue up for it! Just like this morning when mummy and daddy reached there, the queue is already quite a long one but we are willing to wait patiently for our turn.

Only today mummy realize that nasi lemak Tang Lin actually opens on weekends and public holidays from 7 am to 12 pm while on weekdays, apart from 7 am to 12 pm, they also reopen on 430-930pm. I guess next time, we'll either just go after office hour or on weekends to avoid from traffic and restricted office hours to go out for breakfast ^_^

So dear peeps, do go and check this one out! You'll not regret it.

Manhattan Fish Market's July Promo

People might be wandering why I'm so fanatic about Hwang Tae Kyung smiles. If you watch the drama, then you'll understand. He always have this frowning face almost all the time in the drama and once he smiles, it was priceless! Especially the baby face one...can't believe that he actually have a very sweet smile and looks really cute like a baby in the photo above!
