Pet World 2011...A Sneak Peek

It's Pet World in Midvalley starts yesterday until this Sunday so mummy and daddy went to kiko and kiki's stuff hunting....last year we just went to look around the stuffs and pets they offered since kiko and kiki were still not adopted back then....it was a nice place to be for all animal lovers...only that just like last year, they were having various type of pet competition so most of the Chinese bring along the lovely and cute dogs so it was hard for us to walk around ....it's not that we hate dogs....mummy really envy all of them are soooo darn cute! Only that, being Muslims, we are prohibited to touch the dogs....

By the way, they are charging entrance fee as usual....RM5 per pax...all petlover in KL and Selangor, do stop by in Midvalley this weekend to find and buy interesting products for your furry friend at an interesting price! They are having various kinds of promotion that will of course add value to your money!

Pirates of the Carribean - On Stranger Tides

Last nite mummy and daddy went for a dose of the latest installment to the Pirates of the Caribbean movie (yes I know it's so not up-to-date since the movie opens since 19th of May...heeee) with Johnny Depp as its main actor, it was an awesome one to watch! Full of action-packed and also funny...being Captain Jack Sparrow, it always fun despite the danger they encounter in the movie. Mummy really loves the scene where Captain Jack climb the coconut tree while still being tied up to it in order to escape and swinging from the tree like a monkey to battle down a bunch of Mexican soldiers!

The movie also was interesting with the introduction of Penelope Cruz as Captain Jack's long lost lover with her sexy Spanish accent...

and also a bunch of pretty mermaids (pretty yet dangerous in the movie) where they need to capture the mermaids in order to get their tears to fulfill the Fountain of Youth requirements to make their wish comes true....

Well, to enjoy the full movie, what it's all about...the adventure and challenges Captain Jack Sparrow and the gang encountered in order to reach the Fountain of Youth, do go to the nearest cinema near you! You will not regret it! Mark my words! Wow! mummy now sounds very much like the ad on tv! ^_^

28th May 2011 - Mummy & Daddy's 4th Wed Anniversary

Yes it's mummy and daddy's 4th wedding anniversary...how times flies so fast! But this year mummy and daddy are so blessed to have kiko and kiki with us....no words can describe how much joy they have bring to us...this home feels more lively with them around and mummy always has companion 24-7!

In the event of our anniversary, bapak brought mummy for lunch at Al-Rawsha Restaurant in Jalan Tun Razak....an Arabian food restaurant...yes, the building looks so interesting!

the menu....hard to know what kind of food they are serving since they used of course Arabic terms...much more preferred if they put pictures for each food they served for the customers to better know what actually they are going to order rather than disappointed when the order arrived....

while waiting for the food

daddy's lamb kabsha...really large portion despite individual serving...it takes two of us to finish it...credit must be given to their lamb...mummy was not so into lamb for their smell despite after being cooked but this lamb absolutely doesn't have any smell and taste juz like any other meat and also so tender and juicy!

their milo ice priced at RM6 was not worth it! better milo ice at regular mamak stall...it was tasteless! lack of milo, sugar and milk!

the very last meal to arrive...mummy's chicken steak! yup being a western food lover, this is the Arabic kinda style of chicken steak, totally different! Never thought it came with a really large parata bread! hahahaaa almost fainted when the steak arrived! We were like, wahhhh how we are going to finish this one?

Of course after helping daddy finished his kabsha, mummy has already full and the chicken steak was no longer gave an appetite...

Last but not least, an anniversary of course would not be complete without a cake...our very own anniversary cake and a very simple one from cupcake chic @ RM27.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US AND MAY WE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER! ^_^

Thor The Movie

A nice and interesting one to watch...fictional and fantasy but superb...full of action packed from the start til the end of the movie...Thor is so hot and sexy! ^_^

Above of all, it teaches us with great power comes great responsibility and we must use it wisely to protect all, and not only ourselves...and also be humble and respect others even though the power is solely in our hands...

Each A Cup Story....

Mummy was introduced to this marvelous drinks by a friend during our trip to Audit Seminar in Sungai Petani....mummy never had an eye on this kinda drinks since mummy only drinks mineral water most of the time...the only time for sugary drinks was only during trips to fast food restaurants...

Back then, mummy's friend did ask whether mummy want pearls to be added the drinks at an additional rm1....mummy was....erkkkk what? pearls? can pearls be eaten blurring, asking myself and of course said no....

mummy's very first each a cup in Tesco SP...oreo without pearls...yes! so yummy until can't forget its taste + keep asking for more! hahahaaaa...and also keep wondering y mummy never come across this drinks before....

Been craving for this drinks for months since our last visit to SP....juz for the sake of this drinks, mummy manage to persuade bapak to stop by at that Tesco on the way back to KL after finals...heeee thank God that bapak's willing to!

Each a cup kiosk in Tesco SP

Mummy's second cup of each a cup...oreo too with pearls but it seems different from the first cup that mummy had...white in color instead of choc...maybe different order...but it doesn't yummy enough like the first one since the additional pearls makes the drinks less cold and icy...because of that, mummy much prefer without the pearls...despite the lack of icy thing, it's nice to have the pearls, something that can be chewed while drinking....

Last weekend mummy went to Pavilion and came across each a cup outlet at FERRENHEIT88 Jln Bukit Bintang so today mummy make an effort, try to surf the web for each a cup info and thank God that they did had a website! Found out that they had quite a number of kiosk in KL....am so happy since now mummy can get my hands on each a cup anytime! No more craving for something that is sooo far away ^_^

u can surf the web for their location at : http://each-a-cup.com.my/outlet.php

Malaysia's 1st Hybrid Scooter

Just wanna share something quite interesting on The Star today....part of mummy dearest school work...to analyze an article everyday & summarize....so proud to have our very own hybrid scooter especially with the high oil prices....if the terribly hot & humid weather here is not taken into consideration, so sure that most of us would rather cycle to class ^_^

DENGKIL: Hybrid Scooter Sdn Bhd, a relatively unknown player in the automotive sector, hopes to capture 2% of the total motorcycle market this year with the launch of the country's first hybrid scooter.

“We hope to sell 16,000 units in 2011, which is about 2% of the total motorcycle market as at end-2009,” chairman Datuk Dr Mohd Yahya Nordin said at a media briefing yesterday.

He said the company hoped to increase its share of the total motorcycle market to between 3% and 4% in the next three to five years.

Asked about the prospects for hybrid motorcycles in Malaysia, Mohd Yahya said: “Hybrid technology is in the matured stage and not in its incubation period. We believe that this will be the trend in the next five years. We believe all motorcycles will be developed this way.”

The company intends to start selling the scooters by next month offering two models the 80cc Enviro 80HX which will cost between RM7,200 and RM7,800 and the 50cc Enviro 50HX which will be priced from RM6,800 to RM7,200.

The scooters currently have about 40% local content.

Mohd Yahya said that the company planned to increase the local content of the scooters to about 70% within the next three years and this would lower the prices of the scooters further.

He said a conventional scooter in the same range (as its hybrid scooters) cost between RM6,000 and RM6,800.

“Our scooters are just a little bit more expensive,” Mohd Yahya said, adding that the company had invested RM6mil in research and development for the production of its hybrid scooters. Funded by bank loans, the company intends to invest RM16mil more on its operations this year.

He said the scooters' hybrid drive system combined a conventional internal combustion engine with an electric propulsion system and provided 30% more fuel economy than conventional scooters.

Mohd Yahya said as the scooters could run exclusively on an electric propulsion system, minimal usage of the combustion engine also meant that users could also save money by prolonging their service intervals.

He added that the batteries had a lifespan of about three years.

Serunai Emas Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Aubrey O'Hara said Hybrid Scooter Sdn Bhd had the sole manufacturing license for hybrid motorcycles in Malaysia from the International Trade and Industry Ministry. Serunai Emas is the marketing arm for Hybrid Scooter.

Serunai Emas consultant Rajesh Kumar said the company was in talks with a major player from the local automotive industry to distribute its scooters, adding that it was also in talks with foreign parties to distribute its scooters in Indonesia, Vietnam and Bangladesh.

According to Mohd Yahya, Hybrid Scooter is 90%-owned by Revolution Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, which also manufactures electric wheel chairs, bicycles and carts. The company has a paid-up capital of RM1mil.

p/s : congrats to Hybrid Scooter Sdn Bhd for being the first mover in introducing our country's very first hybrid scooter....they have an advantage in the market due to the product differentiation and rare technology for the time being....everyone is eagerly waiting for oil substitute due to the price hike....as if...why not we just fill our vehicles tank with water....heeeee....the price is quite affordable since the difference is not that high compared to the original scooter that used oil....huuu..if only Honda Civic Hybrid also is that affordable ^_^

Today, mummy & bapak go & watch a hot from oven movie - The Tourist starring A-list actor & actress, Johny Depp as Frank Tupelo & Angelina Jolie as Elise Clifton-Ward.

However, despite the A-list stars, the movie is not quite an interesting one...been sleepy while watching it, kept looking at the watch...feels so longggg for the movie to end....a bored and uninteresting storyline plus lack of actions...credit must be given for the location though...a nice, beautiful place in Venice...a really romantic location...watching it makes us wanna go to Venice! heeeee....
