It's 31 st of August, Happy Birthday Malaysia!

Nothing much that I did today other than just staying at home healing the fever and throat but manage to ask daddy to buy me BR since it's having its 31% discount for 3 days starting 2 days ago.

Thank God that daddy manage to buy it at their new branch in Publika.

The crowd is not that bad and this is my first time enjoying their 31% discount! Really worth it! 4 flavors in a bucket with RM20+ lesser than the normal price!

EL!

It has been quite a tough week for me since last Monday esp after getting the sore throat. Am still at home today taking emergency leave for my fever is back last night with quite a high temp until I can't get up this morning without feeling dizzy.

The sore throat is getting better but the cough come to replace it. The cough was so bad that I can't sleep at night and it was so itchy that I keep throwing up every single thing that I pop up into my mouth including the med. I guess that's y I'm still sick.

Even the Strepsils can't reduce it, not even the med for cough!

But good thing do comes with this sickness. It was so bad that I can't even eat and even if I ate, it removes all the food that I took so manage to trim down a bit. At least there's something to be happy about ^_^

And I do got more time to spend at home, only one day working this week since tomorrow's already a public holiday. Hopefully the additional leave starting tomorrow can cure all this...

Sick Again!

Just got back from the clinic and got 2 days of mc for today and tomorrow. The throat is badly in pain, can't hardly drink! The worst I ever had I guess. It was so painful and hurt so bad esp. at night even just by swallowing own saliva T_T

Nothing that I can do other than taking all those pills than praying to get well soon. I just got sick last May and now I'm sick again after the long Raya break! Maybe because the extremely hot weather back at home, top with drinking ice and eating durian a bit when last week. My worst throat enemy ever, durian!

Manage to make this despite the sickness after daddy was asking. Hunting for its ingredients yesterday but end up not making it due to the pain from sore throat but tonight just bear and finish it.

A Sick Monday

Yep the start of the week after a long raya off from the office. Unluckily I got a sore throat just yesterday, seems like wanting the Monday off.

Almost skip the office today but here I am in the office relying on these drug : (

Ikea Is Full!

Spent the day @ Ikea after a day of spring cleaning the house yesterday. Daddy want to check it out the new catalogue. Unfortunately, it's still not availabe.




A trip to Ikea would not be complete without its meatballs but since I'm trying to control my diet, just opt for its salmon that turn out quite nice. Never had it before.


But when it comes to payment counter, we were so shocked to see the large crowd! Never before we need to queue up in the terribly long line and almost one hour waiting for our turn to pay...All are excited decorating their home since it's still in Raya mood I guess.

Dinner @ Pasir Mas

Craving for nasi paprik in Pasir Mas and decided to check whether the restaurant has open or not. Unluckily it's still close so just hop in to the next restaurant. Am so shocked to see the price in the menu list. It was up to RM7 per plate! I was, ehhh we are in kampung or KL?

Ordered for Nasi Goreng Special and it turn out to be just ordinary despite the RM7 price. If I had the option, I won't be coming back again in the future.

Somehow, I'm more expert of finding decent foof to eat in KL rather than my hometown. That's what it turns out to be when you only come back once in a while and most of the thing has changes...

3rd Day of Raya

Only today we had the chance to make something for ourselves....roti jala with kuzi ayam. Kuzi made by mama, roti jala by me and lil' sis'.

Roti jala is really time consuming to make but only in a blink of an eye to finish it all in our mouth and tummy (^_^)

2nd Day of Raya

Since lil' sis' has got a huge booking for her apam, just spend most of the day with her in the kitchen. She has upgraded her apam from the basic one to a 3D, an additional remeh to make. Need really a huge amount of patience. Really envy her for that.


At noon we were off to an engagement party of our relatives. Seems many are going to get engaged and married during this Raya holidays...

1st Day of Raya

Us this morning with yes, a pink theme! A last minute theme after thinking that I want to change to cotton since it's really hot here. It was a double happiness since Raya morning was spent at mama's place. After Raya prayers, we continue the tradition every year by visiting the elderly. It was 4-5 houses, stuffing ourselves with almost everything from sate, roti jala, lontong, nasi dagang....yes, Kelantanese is quite a heavy eater. Cakes and biscuits are barely invincible during the early days of Raya.


After Zohor prayers we head down to hubby's area to visit his relatives and back to mama's place later. Hubby's cousin house which is still under progress. It was all wood and it was the first time I saw it and I was like, wahhhh so traditional and totally hot for Raya shooting! So big yet the price is the same as my small house in KL...


Dinner with mama's special mee...so yummy!


Here's Iman helping Tok Bah peeling the banana while we were busy preparing the mee. She is really a quick learner...

Coke Glass Collector's Set

Aiyoooooo! Mcd's just post this one on its FB page! How come it's not yesterday while we're already @ KB Mall?

Off to Mcd's Wakaf Che Yeh which was said a 24 hours one after Zohor prayers but so dissapointed that it was closed & only open @ 3 p.m! Aiyooooo! Then what's the signboard of 24 hours is all about?!

Waiting & waiting it to open just to hear that there's no longer one complete set T_T

It was so cheap ok! RM13 for complete set without having to buy their meal set! Been stuffing with Mcd's just for the sake of the glass. We even still had the ice creams in the freezer back @ home, who can even finish all the large set meals together with ice-cream esp it's fasting month...

Another Wedges?!

Arrived @ our hometown @ 9 this morning after 12 hours journey...off to KB Mall after Friday prayers to buy LCD tv for my sis in law

Came across this one while window shop a bit @ Vincci KB Mall...ohhhh really can't help myself seeing it was 70% off!

Sometimes being a big foot (size 8 to be exact) is an advantage when it comes to finding shoes esp. during sales.

Daddy doesn't really approve due to its height but the height helps to hide me being fat T_T

To Sitter's Home

As usual...mum & dad is going back to hometown & our furry ones will be in their sitter's home in Keramat.

Mum is not in a good mood today, sad of leaving my babies behind T_T

Kiki was crying all the way there & mum was trying to hold it back very hard.

It's gonna b long counting the days to be reunited with my babies!

A Bored Day

It's Thursday & only another 3 days to Hari Raya. Feeling totally bored in the office since most of my colleague has already started their Hari Raya leave.

Ohhhhh I don't know how people going to survive another day in the office i.e tomorrow...

A pink one of course! Came across to it while in KWC during lunch hour, thanx to my pinkie fren who is used to it.

I never know that there's such a thing. Not merely a lens case but a case with a battery operated which can cleanse ur lenses!

Baju Raya Again?!

Ohhhhh grab myself another baju raya while in KWC! Opppsss not one but two ! I'm really crazy for cotton these days. One is with all this bling2 and butterflies, my first ever.

Oreo Black Cookies

Bought it last week @ the bazar ramadhan near my house. Am attracted to its black & pink color. Seems so chocolatey. Since it's only 30 pieces, decided to put it in my new raya cookie jar that I just bought from Tupperware.

Despite the so simple & not so good looks, it do taste right. So oreo-ty! ?!!!!

Went to Vincci in Midvalley during lunch hour with my pinkie friend after receiving an mms this morning from my lil' sis who's been wanting this shoes but there's no more her size back home.

Anything as long as she is happy.

Of course her big sis also grab something for herself, a cute pink cartoon slipper!

After weeks of asking, finally today I got to try Pizza Seri Kasturi by Pizza Hut available only thru Ramadhan.

It was really good! Daddy said it tastes like Maggi but still good.

Feels like going for more! But Ramadhan has almost reach the end : (

A Note From 8 Years Ago...

Something that I found while spring cleaning my treasure from 8 years ago...a note on friendship...

In any kind of relationship, it's always about give & take...compromise to stay close forever...

Hopefully I'm a good friend...it may be hard for me to hang out with friends due to my status as a wife but they can always get in touch with me in any way. Technology rules the world today. Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp keep people stay closer together despite the distance.

A good & true friend is really hard to find but having one would be such a blessings!
