It's The Last Day of Work for The Year!

Approaching another new year in 2 days...It's also the end of school holidays so starting next week, it's back to bad traffic. No more leaving house @ 7 a.m. and still manage to arrive in office on time. Better treasure this last working day to the fullest I guess. Hopefully to meet again this time of the year next year...

Mission Imposibble : Ghost Protocol

Yep a really great action movie. What more can I say, it's Tom Cruise and MI. Action packed and lots of brilliant gadget used. What's interesting is that, most of it was in Dubai and through this movie we can get a sneak peek on the tallest building in the world which is Burj Al-Arab and also how sandstorm really looks like. I never thought that sandstorm would be that terrible, looks very much like a hurricane but in the form of sand. Only that you can still walk and run in it with blurry eye sight. New things learned huh?!

My Black Guess Watch Is Back!

Yes! Finally! After 2 years, I got back my beloved Guess watch! Oppssss, not really got back, get to wear it back after 2 years stranded in my closet due to its broken strap.

It has a sentimental value to me since it was the first prezzie that I received from daddy during our 1st year of marriage. Only manage to wear it almost a year before its strap was broken due to my brutality (^_^). Well, it was actually broken when I wear it for my 1st semester in Arau....been living in a fast lane back then juggling with a busy life as student, I really don't have the time to handle it with a real care.

But now since I finally get it back...I'm really happy! Pray that its strap gonna last longer than before. It took me years to wait for the stock from Guess to become available and it costs half of the watch itself!

Prezzie for kiko + kiki

It's payday and bonus paying day today. The first thing that I shop today is for my furry babies items. Have been planning to give them prezzie for quite some time. Alhamdulilah that part of my wish list for my bbulus has been granted. Since it's mummy's birthday month, of course I take the opportunity as a Pet Lovers Center's VIP card member to get 10% discount on all the items purchased.

The original plan was to buy a 7.5kg of Blackwood but we were told that, that pack were no longer around since Blackwood is transforming to a new package. Need to wait until they release they new packaging. Until then, need to buy the small pack which is not so economic.


Kiko seems to really enjoy his new place to hang out and play. Am happy as long as my furry babies are happy.

Puss In Boots The Movie

Yep, we have watched Puss very own movie and it was awesome! Really suitable for kids, kids at heart and parents. It was about Puss life's history. He was being blown away by winds in a basket when he was little and end up in front of the door of an orphanage where he meets Humpty Dumpty and vowed to become brothers after Puss rescue him from bullies at the orphanage. However, they end up being enemies and Puss became an outlaw.

Puss and Humpty were united after years when both of them were hunting for the magic beanstalk where Puss meets Humpty's beautiful assistant, Kitty Soft Paws while trying to steal the magic beanstalk from Jack and Jill and of course felt in love with her.

Yep, he did use this charming eyes to melt others and us in this movie.

If you want to know what is all about...Puss history...how and why he become an outlaw...is he is really a bandit...is things ever going to be the same to Puss and Humpty...the end of the love between Puss and Kitty and so on, you got to go and catch the movie. It's entertaining, teaching us lessons about life, moral values and survivals.

Hotness In E Office

Our office is currently officially out of airconds starting today until 6th Jan next year due to the maintenance of this old office building....I wonder how we are going to survive in this totally close up environment without no fresh air + airconds! Before this, the airconds were on and offs but not totally off.

In the hope of reducing the hotness, I brought my own fan from home but it didn't help much due to the stuffed air that's already stuck in the office. Terribly counting the days for the airconds to be back!

KUALA LUMPUR: The reign of the country's 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong came to a regal end with Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin and Tuanku Nur Zahirah bidding farewell to thousands of loyal subjects here.

Don’t use oil more than once

PETALING JAYA: Repeatedly used cooking oil can cause hypertension, affect the liver and may in the long run lead to cancer, the National Poison Centre has warned.

Centre consultant Dr T. Jayabalan said cooking oil should not be used even twice.

“When used repeatedly, the concentration of hydrocarbons in the oil increases and these can clog and stiffen arteries, causing hypertension and also affect the liver,” he said in a phone interview.

“Many people do not discard the oil after using it once. They put it in a container to be used again before they finally dispose of it,” Dr Jayabalan said.

“No level of contamination should be allowed. There is no basis for a permissible level of recyling for oil meant for human consumption.”

An unplanned purchase @ Metrojaya The Curve Damansara due to its really cheap price. Best buy @ only rm29 per pair. The design is very much the same that I already had but the previous one was brown in color. Simple and comfortable, that what matters the most regardless the price.

Ikea' Self Service Ice Cream

Yup, there's a new technology @ Ikea. Just realize it today when I ordered for an ice cream from the food counter. This time around, you'll pay for ice cream @ the usual counter but they no longer give you the ice cream on the spot but they'll hand over an empty ice cream cone and a chip for you to enter into some sort of vending machine placed somewhere near their soft drinks machine. Yep, it's just the same when you purchase their soft drinks where they'll only give you an empty paper cup for you to self refill at the soft drinks station.

It's so easy. Just put the coin into its slot and the cone to the cone place and then just press for the ice cream to flow from the machine. Easy and impressing! ^_^

It's also really convenience since you can buy the cones before hand to avoid the jam-packed crowd queuing waiting for their turn at the counter esp. on weekends and public holidays and fill the cone with the ice cream anytime you want either before or after shopping.

My First BADC Cushions

Since we were already in Midvalley today, I took a chance to see what's actually donut cushions. It is a pillow actually which made to look totally the same as the real donuts and it looks very much like a giant BADC donuts.

Oh! Heaven of donuts! Do bear in mind that you can only buy the cushions @ RM9.90 each instead of its original price of RM29.90 if you buy a box of 6 @ 12 pieces of BADC donuts.

My Chocoholic cushion...yep, it looks totally the same as the the real donuts! For this week there's another design which is Kiwi Blitz in white and green color

Ikea's BENNO Dvd Tower

Today's item on sale @ Ikea that I grabbed...RM109 instead of RM159...one of my long wishlist has been granted...been wanting a dvd tower for my collection of cds. It's tall + skinny, suitable for our small home...save space.

The alvine rutor single quilt cover is also on sale today but daddy doesn't really approve it so I just let it go. RM55 instead of RM95.
